SYMBOL II : GOLDENER SCHNITT  - GOLDEN SECTION    SYMBOLE II :  NOMBRE D’OR

Der „Goldene Schnitt“ ist erstens ein Verhältnis ( PHI= 0,618 ) ; Die Anwendung dieses Verhältnisses auf  die Länge und Breite eines Rechtecks ( z.b.: eine Leinwand ) zeigt dem Maler vier mögliche Zonen für eine optimale Lokalisierung ( optisch, ästhetisch, und harmonisch ) Im antiken Griechenland in Architektur erst gebraucht; zwischen den 16. und 18. Jahrhundert wurde der Goldene Schnitt bei Künstler in vielen Gemälden vermutet . Es wurde damals von Maler gebraucht um emblematische Personen zu stellen ( auch gottes zb: Christus, Maria, Heiligen, Gott ). Wissenschaftler haben festgestellt , dass dieses Verhältnis des Goldenen Schnittes auch in der Natur in grossen Umfang existiert ( Blumen, Pflanzen, Tieren, Atom …) und wäre gesehen als „ein göttliches Symbol des Naturgesetzes“.

The „Golden Section“ ist first a Ratio ( PHI= 0,618 ) ; the application of this ratio on the length and the width of a rectangle ( ex.: a canvas ) shows to the painter four possible areas for an optimal location ( optically, aesthetically, harmonic ) . Used first in the antic Greece in architecture; between the 16th and the18th.century a lot of artists incorporated the Golden Ratio in their paintings . Painters at that time used it in order to place emblematic persons ( even divine, ex: Jesus Christ, Madonna, Saints, God ). Scientists noticed that this ratio of the “Golden Section” exists in the Nature as well, at different scales ( flowers, plants, animals, atomic scale ) and would be seen as a “divine symbol of the law of Nature” .

Le “Nombre d’Or” est d’abord un Ratio ( PHI= 0,618 ) ; l’application de ce ratio sur la Longueur et la Largeur d’un rectangle ( ex. une toile ) montre au peintre quatre zones possibles de positionnement optimal   ( optique, esthétique, harmonique ). Utilisé à partir de la Grèce antique dans l'architecture; entre le 16ème et le 18ème siècle, beaucoup d’artistes l’utiliseront dans leurs compositions . Les peintres l'utilisaient alors pour placer des personnages emblématiques ( voire divins, ex: Jesus Christ, Marie, Saints, Dieu ). Les scientifiques ont constaté que ce ratio du « Nombre d’Or » se trouve aussi dans la Nature, à différentes échelles ( fleurs, plantes, animaux, échelle atomique ) et serait interprété comme « un symbole divin des lois de la nature ».

In die zwei letzten Serien meiner Arbeit ( Serien "Sixteen Boys" und "Aperite Portas") 
Arbeit in Verbindung mit alte Meisterwerke der Renaissance , wurde mir 
die Bedeutung klar den goldener Schnitt zu verwenden.

In my two last series in my work ( series "Sixteen Boys" and "Aperite Portas" ) 
work in relation with old Masterpieces from Renaissance 
the use of the golden section was for me logical .

Dans les deux dernières séries de mon travail ( séries "Sixteen Boys" et "Aperite Portas") 
travail en relation avec les chefs-d'oeuvre de la Renaissance 
l'utilisation du Nombre d'Or s'imposa à moi .
