"Annonciation" (série "Aperite Portas" )


Created  for the first time in October 1903 by the architect Frantz JOURDAIN , the SALON d'AUTOMNE celebrated in October 2013 his 110th birthday . In 1903 all disciplines ( like Painting, Sculpture and one year later photography ) were at that time represented .And that is 
still nowadays the case ( Drawing, Engraving, Architecture, video )

Créé pour la première fois en Octobre 1903 à l'initiative de l'architecte Frantz JOURDAIN , le SALON d'AUTOMNE célébrait cette année 2013 son 110ème anniversaire . En 1903 toutes les disciplines ( Peinture, Sculpture et un an plus tard Photographie ) y étaient représentées. Cela est encore toujours le cas aujourd'hui ( Dessin, Gravure, Architecture, vidéo )


Eröffnet für das erstes Mal in Oktober 1903 bei den Architekt Frantz JOURDAIN der SALON d'AUTOMNE wurde in Oktober 2013 sein 110er Geburstag feiern . In 1903 Alle Disziplinen ( wie Malerei, Bildhauerei und ein Jahr später Fotografie ) wurden damals ausgestellt . Und es ist heutzutage immer noch der Fall ( Zeichnung, Gravur, Architektur, Video )

Oder Maria's Leben    Or Madonna's Life   Ou la Vie de Marie

At the beginning one point was clear :  i wanted to present a work in relation with ( once again ) my christian legacy ; the first idee was to focus my work on the most emblematic women in the christian church ; i begun to look after works from Renaissance artists and i was looking for ( possibly ) works which were at that time censored : two women were always coming out : EVE and MADONNA ... and these two women were somehow related with an invisible but symbolical link  ( Madonna has been very often called " the new Eve " ).

Un premier point était clair dès le début : je voulais présenter un travail en relation avec ( encore une fois ) mon héritage chrétien ; La première idée était de concentrer ma recherche sur les femmes emblématiques de l'Eglise chrétienne ; J'ai donc orienté mon travail vers des oeuvres et des artistes de la Renaissance, cherchant si possible des oeuvres qui furent à l'époque censurées : deux femmes revenaient souvent : EVE et MARIE ... et ces deux femmes étaient d'une certaine façon reliées par un lien symbolique invisible ( Marie est aussi très souvent appelée " la nouvelle EVE " ) 

Erster Punkt schon klar am Anfang an : ich wollte eine Arbeit in Beziehung ( immer noch ) mit meinem Christlichen Erbe vorschlagen ; Die erste Idee war meine Arbeit über die wichtigste Frauen der christliche Kirche zu orientieren ; Ich habe angefangen Künstler und Kunstwerke der Renaissance anzuschauen und auch gesucht ( möglicherweise ) Bilder die damals zensiert waren : zwei Frauen kamen immer wieder in Frage : EVA  und MARIA ... und diese beide Frauen waren irgendwie mit einem unsichtbaren aber symbolischer Link gebunden ( Maria wurde auch sehr oft " die neue Eva " genannt ) .
